Soccer Recap: Mercer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Karns City on Monday, Mercer came back down to earth. The Mustangs lost 4-0 to the Harbor Creek Huskies on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Mercer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Harbor Creek are ranked eighth).

Mercer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Harbor Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Mercer wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 win against Mohawk Area on the 2nd. As for Harbor Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against McDowell on the 30th.
