Volleyball Recap: Hickman Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hickman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hannibal Pirates. If the Kewpies were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Pirates when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 23-25, 25-15.

Kaylie Brinkley paced Hickman's offense, picking up nine kills. Brinkley got some help from Abby Duncan and her 13 assists. Lily Sipe and Alaina Young kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Hickman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Hannibal, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Hickman has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Southern Boone on the 18th. As for Hannibal, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Mexico on the 18th.
