Baseball Recap: Mount Calm Takes a Loss

Mount Calm lost against Coolidge back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mount Calm fell just short of Coolidge by a score of 7-6. Mount Calm has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nason Rucker made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Mount Calm is 2-1 when Rucker posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Micah Carmean was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Mount Calm now has a losing record of 3-4.

Coincidentally, Mount Calm and Coolidge will both be playing Hubbard the next time they take the field. Coolidge will head out to face Hubbard at 4:30 p.m. on the 18th, while Mount Calm will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
