Battle Ground Academy hadn't beaten Davidson Academy on the road since September 30, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Wildcats blew past the Bears 55-10. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 25 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Kaedyn Marable, who threw for 379 yards and five touchdowns while completing 86.4% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Those 379 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Max Curry also helped out as he racked up 159 receiving yards.

Battle Ground Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Christian Thompson and Evan Kellum.

Battle Ground Academy's record is now 5-1. As for Davidson Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Battle Ground Academy will host Chattanooga Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Davidson Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Portland at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Bears have a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while the Panthers will come in with three straight victories.
