Softball Recap: Muenster Beats Crawford for Their 20th Straight Victory

Muenster extended their postseason success on Friday against Crawford. They never let the Pirates get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 contests by six runs or more this season.

Brynlee Berend was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Lilly Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The win (which was Muenster's 20th in a row) raised their record to 24-8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Crawford, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-1.

As of now, neither Muenster nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
