Football Recap: Libby Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Libby's offense. They took a blow against the Hamilton Broncs on Friday, falling 40-0. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Loggers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Tristan Andersen threw for 102 yards on seven of 17 attempts. Bransen Holzer was his top target, picking up 97 receiving yards.

Hamilton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Weston out in front who threw for 287 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Another rusher making a difference was Jude Widmer, who rushed for 156 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Having lost for the first time this season, Libby fell to 2-1. As for Hamilton, the victory was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Libby and Hamilton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Loggers see the field they'll take on Polson at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Hamilton, their break will end when they face Stevensville at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
