Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Turner

The Centennial Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Turner Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Centennial had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Heritage last Tuesday. Centennial was the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Heritage. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Heritage with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Wanzer (2), Boston Cross, and Victor Stovall.

Meanwhile, Turner didn't have quite enough to beat Wakeland last Tuesday and fell 2-1. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Turner's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-4. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1-4.
