Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Jefferson back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lincoln Cardinals were beaten by the Jefferson Democrats 75-32. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Democrats are ranked seventh).

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-2.

Coming up, Lincoln will welcome McDaniel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will challenge Cleveland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
