You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Grosse Pointe South's strategy against Grosse Pointe North on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Blue Devils blew the Norsemen out of the water with a 44-7 final score. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Norsemen recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Grosse Pointe South was led to victory by Charlie Michelotti and Sam Rouleau. Michelotti rushed for 130 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries, while Rouleau rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Michelotti a new career-high. Trey Grabowski was another key player, gaining 71 total yards and a touchdown.

Grosse Pointe South's record is now 8-1. As for Grosse Pointe North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
