Recap: Stringer Red Devils vs. Clarkdale Bulldogs        
        
		
            
 The Stringer Red Devils lost against the Clarkdale Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. Stringer took a  53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clarkdale. Stringer has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Clarkdale's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Cade Culpepper, who  scored 19 points along with eight  rebounds and five  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Culpepper has scored at least 25% of Clarkdale's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Connor Mcdill, who  scored 14 points along with four  steals.
 Stringer's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  bumped their record down to 4-13. As for Clarkdale, they now  have a winning record of 7-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stringer will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mississippi School for the Deaf at 7:00  p.m.  on January 9, 2024. Mississippi School for the Deaf has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 11. Clarkdale won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Sebastopol at 7:30  p.m.  on December 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Mississippi (Sebastopol is ranked 240th, while Clarkdale is ranked 219th).
