Page County is a perfect 10-0 against Stuarts Draft since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will take on the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Stuarts Draft will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Page County extended their winning streak to seven on Friday. The Panthers never let Luray get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The Panthers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Meanwhile, Stuarts Draft got the win against Waynesboro on Thursday by a conclusive 16-6.

Karlee Layne was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Mason, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and one triple.

Page County's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Stuarts Draft, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Page County took their victory against Stuarts Draft when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 13-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
