Volleyball Recap: North Posey Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

North Posey waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Evansville Christian Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

North Posey walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 25-19.

North Posey got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mallory Luigs out in front who had 27 digs and two aces. Luigs has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 22 times she's played.

Luigs wasn't the only good server: North Posey was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 15 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

North Posey's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Evansville Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

North Posey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Evansville Harrison on the 28th. As for Evansville Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ohio County on the 29th.
