Recap: Crossings Christian Knights vs. Bethel Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chandler, The Crossings Christian Knights were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Bethel by a score of 39-26. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Crossings Christian's zero-point performance the contest before.
Leading Crossings Christian to victory were Luke Olson and Jonah Neher. Olson gained 120 total yards and two touchdowns, while Neher rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown.
Bethel's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Cale Duncan, who threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan A curry, who picked up 131 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Crossings Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bethel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Crossings Christian will look to defend their home field on Friday against Meeker at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Meeker is ranked 98th, while Crossings Christian is ranked 84th). As for Bethel, they will head out on the road to face off against Luther at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
