Soccer Game Preview: Christopher vs. Menlo School

The Christopher Cougars will face off against the Menlo School Knights on Wednesday. Christopher is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Christopher is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Gonzales with a sharp 4-1 victory. The result kept Christopher happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 19, 2025.

They hit Gonzales with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Guillermo Valdez (2), Luca Warren, and Raul Ramos.

Meanwhile, Menlo School hasn't lost a match since January 14th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Alisal, sneaking past 2-1.

Menlo School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight matchups. As for Christopher, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2-4.
