Softball Recap: Iroquois Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Iroquois had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 20-3 to the Shawnee Golden Eagles on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 21-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2015.

Iroquois will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brown at 5:30 p.m. on April 9th. As for Shawnee, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against North Oldham at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
