Oldenburg Academy had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rising Sun Shiners. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Rachel Suttmann paced Oldenburg Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Suttmann were helped by Lydia Ehrhard and Campbell Miles, who contributed seven assists each. Hailey Hoffman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Oldenburg Academy's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Rising Sun, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

Oldenburg Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Seven Oaks Classical on the 11th. As for Rising Sun, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Lanesville on the 11th.
