Basketball Recap: Eden Prairie Comes Up Short

Eden Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 74-48 to the Wayzata Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-58 back in January.

Eden Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Wayzata, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eden Prairie will head out to face off against St. Michael-Albertville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wayzata, they are taking a road trip to square off against Edina at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
