South Pemiscot waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Holcomb Hornets. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Phoenix Simmons made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Simmons was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
