Berean Academy waltzed into their match on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Pleasant View Christian Warriors by a score of 61-54. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Berean Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Daniel Wigginton out in front who went 5-for-10 en route to 21 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Wigginton has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mayer Weatherly, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 18 points.

Berean Academy's record now sits at 19-3. As for Pleasant View Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-6.
