Basketball Game Preview: Lutheran Lions vs. Windsor Wizards

The Lutheran Lions will square off against the Windsor Wizards at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Windsor likes a good challenge.

Lutheran is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Grand Junction by a score of 61-54.

Meanwhile, Windsor waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 63-51 win over the Silver Knights.

Lutheran better keep an eye on Madden Smiley. He was instrumental in Windsor's win, dropping a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Smiley has scored at least a third of the Wizards' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thales Price, who made all 5 shots he took for 11 points.

Windsor was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are 19-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

Lutheran's record now sits at 19-7. As for Windsor, their record is now an identical 19-7.
