Soccer Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

Mountain Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Salt Lake Academy Griffins. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Mountain Ridge struggled afterwards.

Mountain Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Salt Lake Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mountain Ridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Herriman at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Salt Lake Academy will take on rival Copper Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
