Soddy Daisy came tearing into Sunday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Chattanooga Central Pounders as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Considering the Trojans have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

Soddy Daisy let Skylar Gooden and Ava Blue run wild. Gooden went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base, while Blue went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Soddy Daisy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chattanooga Central only posted a batting average of .167.

Soddy Daisy pushed their record up to 21-12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Chattanooga Central, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-9-1.

As of now, neither Soddy Daisy nor the Pounders have any future games scheduled.
