If Evansville Harrison wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Evansville Central, they should've done a better job of containing Madalynn Shirley. The Bears walked away with a 59-50 win over the Warriors on Wednesday for which the team can thank Shirley, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 20 boards. Her evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 23 points.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaliyah Farmer, who posted eight points along with ten assists and eight rebounds. Evansville Central's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Evansville Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
