Soccer Game Preview: Thornapple Kellogg vs. West Catholic

The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the West Catholic Falcons at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Thornapple Kellogg didn't have quite enough to beat East Grand Rapids and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, West Catholic kept a clean sheet against Northview on Monday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Wildcats 1-0.

West Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-7-1. As for Thornapple Kellogg, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-1.

Thornapple Kellogg took their win against West Catholic when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
