Basketball Recap: Minneapolis South Takes a Loss

Minneapolis South was the 57-47 winner over Austin when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Minneapolis South Tigers took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Packers on Saturday.

Minneapolis South now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Austin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Minneapolis South will venture away from home to take on Washburn at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Austin, they will welcome Mayo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Austin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Mayo likes a good challenge.
