Strawberry Crest hadn't done well against Newsome recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Chargers managed a 28-24 win over the Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Zion Weems and Tre Feliciano. Weems rushed for 100 yards and one TD while Feliciano rushed for 89 yards and one score on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards Weems has posted since back in September of 2024.

Although Newsome took the loss, they still got scores from Trey Gaffney, Max Urbanek, and Dax Johnsey.
