Volleyball Recap: Kim/Branson Takes a Loss

Kim/Branson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Granada Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-17, 25-12.

Kim/Branson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Granada, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Kim/Branson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinidad at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Granada, they will challenge Las Animas at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
