Volleyball Recap: Farrell Takes a Loss

Farrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the West Middlesex Big Reds. If the Steelers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Big Reds when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Farrell was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-19.

Farrell's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for West Middlesex, their victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Farrell will face off against rival Kennedy Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Middlesex is set to challenge their familiar foe Rocky Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
