Triton Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Heritage Christian Eagles on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Lucy May paced Triton Central's offense, picking up 21 kills. May got some help from Maryrose Felling and her 27 assists. Savanna Plew controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Heritage Christian still got an impressive performance from Anna Hilbrich, who had 16 digs and four assists.

Triton Central's victory bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Heritage Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-9.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Triton Central and Northeastern will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Heritage Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
