Soccer Game Preview: Castleberry vs. Lake Dallas

The Castleberry Lions will square off against the Lake Dallas Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Castleberry comes in on ten and Lake Dallas on four.

Castleberry is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Decatur get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Castleberry, who have now won 13 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Lake Dallas challenged San Elizario on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Lake Dallas who was credited with the victory.

Castleberry pushed their record up to 20-1-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matchups. As for Lake Dallas, their win bumped their record up to 18-4-2.
