While Rancocas Valley might've come up empty on Thursday, Logan Shumard wasn't going down without a fight. Shumard struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. The effort marked the fewest hits he has had over his last three matchups.

Shumard and Rancocas Valley will be playing at home against Haddon Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Shumard's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Red Devils' three-game streak of wins on the road.
