Basketball Recap: Connell Comes Up Short

Connell lost against Royal back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Connell Eagles took a 54-38 bruising from the Royal Knights. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Connell's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Royal, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Connell won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Zillah at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Royal, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Wapato at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. Wapato knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Royal likes a good challenge.
