Softball Recap: Millington Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Millington finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Escanaba Eskymos. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since May 18, 2024.

With the defeat, Millington broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6. As for Escanaba, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Coincidentally, Millington and Escanaba will both be playing Hancock the next time they take the field. The Eskymos will host the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
