Burns gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-43 victory over the Kings Mountain Mountaineers. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Grace Hodge was a one-woman wrecking crew as she dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, she posted five steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.
