Baseball Recap: West Hills Comes Up Short

West Hills lost against Eastlake back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolf Pack fell 10-5 to the Titans. The Wolf Pack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joey Monetti was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Ethan Vergne also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

West Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Eastlake, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-1.

Coming up, West Hills will venture away from home to square off against Steele Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolf Pack are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Eastlake, they will be playing at home against Helix at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Highlanders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
