Softball Recap: Brainerd Comes Up Short

Brainerd lost to Tyner Academy back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Rams, falling 15-1.

Brainerd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Tyner Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Brainerd will take on Hixson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tyner Academy, they will challenge Polk County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
