Baseball Recap: Clarksville Comes Up Short

Clarksville came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the BCLUW Comets, falling 11-4. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 11-4 to the Comets when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Clarksville has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for BCLUW, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Clarksville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 25-2 defeat against Don Bosco on the 19th. As for BCLUW, they have also already played their next game, a 19-0 victory against Rockford on the 19th.
