Basketball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Douglass Indians, falling 78-19. The contest marked Carlisle's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 4-26. As for Douglass, they pushed their record up to 14-16 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Carlisle will take on New Summerfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglass, they will challenge Alto at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Alto will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Douglass surely won't give up without a fight.
