Soccer Recap: North Pole Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Monroe Catholic

North Pole faced Monroe Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. North Pole just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Abby Hundley, who's now up to two this season.

North Pole's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Monroe Catholic, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, North Pole and Monroe Catholic will both be playing Redington the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Huskies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will host them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
