Calexico won the last time they faced Hilltop and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lancers.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22.

Calexico's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hilltop, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Calexico has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Morse on the 28th. As for Hilltop, they will take on Mount Miguel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
