Football Recap: Strawberry Crest Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Strawberry Crest entered their contest against Sumner on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Chargers lost to the Stingrays at home by a 30-14 margin. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Stingrays are ranked 50th).

Although Strawberry Crest took the loss, they still got scores from Sevin Bagnato and Hunter Hall.

Strawberry Crest's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Sumner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Strawberry Crest will venture away from home to take on Blake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will need to watch out since the Yellow Jackets have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for Sumner, they will welcome Alonso at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Ravens' defense has only allowed 14.9 points per game this season, so the Stingrays' offense will have their work cut out for them.
