Soccer Game Preview: Palmer Trinity vs. Mater Bay Academy

The Palmer Trinity Falcons will square off against the Mater Bay Academy Rays at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palmer Trinity's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Thursday, Palmer Trinity and Ransom Everglades finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The outcome might've been different if Giuliana Reynolds hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Scarlett Baur and Maya Vanzant scored both of Palmer Trinity's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Meanwhile, Mater Bay Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch last Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Cushman.

Palmer Trinity's draw makes their record 7-4-3 this season. As for Mater Bay Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
