Basketball Recap: Laporte Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Laporte took on Cass Lake-Bena on Thursday. The Laporte Wildcats were dealt a 111-48 loss at the hands of the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while the Panthers are ranked 176th).

Laporte dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Cass Lake-Bena, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-8.

Laporte has already played their next matchup (against Crown Point), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cass Lake-Bena has already played their next contest, an 88-41 loss against Park Christian on the 1st.
