Basketball Recap: Lewis County Comes Up Short

Lewis County lost against Bracken County back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lewis County Lions took a hard 64-50 fall against the Bracken County Polar Bears.

Lewis County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-12. As for Bracken County, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewis County is facing Augusta at the right time seeing as Augusta is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bracken County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bishop Brossart at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
