Softball Recap: Danville Ironmen vs. Milton Black Panthers
Danville gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Milton Black Panthers. The Ironmen haven't had any issues with the Black Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jillian Lowe made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Abby Haught was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in triples (two). Another player making a difference was Brynn Wilson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
Danville's record is now 2-0.
Danville has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Montoursville on the 21st. As for Milton, they will take on Selinsgrove at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
