Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Extends Winning Streak to Four

Roosevelt played in conference for the first time on Monday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They walked away with a 73-60 victory over the Camden Patriots. The win was familiar territory for the Teddies who have now won four matchups in a row.

Roosevelt's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Calvin Peterson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Peterson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Jason Wind was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Roosevelt's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points per game. As for Camden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Roosevelt and Camden will both be playing Washburn the next time they take the court. Roosevelt will head out to face Washburn at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Camden will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 26th.
