Paul VI had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the DC International Dragons as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Paul VI's got stronger as the match went on, holding DC International to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Paul VI's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clara Hays, who had nine digs and three aces. Hays is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Maris Francescon was another key player, getting nine assists and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Paul VI was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Paul VI's record is now 4-0. As for DC International, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Paul VI has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against St. John's Catholic Prep on the 10th. As for DC International, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Capital City Public Charter School on the 11th.
