Kingsway is a perfect 3-0 against Overbrook since May of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dragons will host the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Kingsway is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Kingsway is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Jersey's top teams: Bishop Eustace Prep, who was ranked fourth at the time (Kingsway was ranked fifth). The Dragons came up short against the Crusaders on Friday, falling 10-1. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Kingsway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Schmidt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Overbrook had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Salem a 15-0 shutout.

Overbrook's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Kingsway, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.

Kingsway came out on top in a nail-biter against Overbrook when the teams last played back in April of 2025, sneaking past 6-4. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
