Football Recap: Freedom C Cowboys vs. Providence Athletic Club Panthers
Freedom C had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Providence Athletic Club Panthers by a score of 14-12 on Saturday. The Cowboys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.
Providence Athletic Club can attribute much of their success to Jance Lamb, who gained 100 total yards and a touchdown.
Freedom C will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on South Haven Christian at 7:00 p.m. on August 23rd. As for Providence Athletic Club, they are taking a road trip to square off against Jefferson Davis Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
