Softball Recap: First Coast Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact First Coast Christian can now relate to. They lost 12-2 to the St. Johns Country Day Spartans on Tuesday. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for First Coast Christian and nudges their season record down to 9-8. As for St. Johns Country Day, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.

First Coast Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Johns Country Day, they will face off against Christ's Church Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
